So much to say
So much to do
But all I want to do
Is lay down and cry
To many words in my head
They need to be said

Have to get up,
Put on a smile.
My life isn’t worthwhile
To many people pointing fingers.
To much finger pointing.

Trying to keep friends
Many friendships end
To many mistakes
All in the past
I’m soon the outcast.

People watching
Observing.
To many impressions
That are undeserving.
So many regrets
No way to change.

Ish? Yuck? Oooh?

The thing to know is that there's always time to change and become the person you want to be. True, things can't be undone, but that's okay as all the things we do, the good and the bad, define the person we are today. We should not be defined by a single event or a single decision that we make, yet sometimes we are or allow ourselves to be.

The learning is in the journey. That's the joy and stuff of life. I wouldn't have it any other way.

I agree with Mr. K. Your life is evolving into the person you are becoming. You can be anybody you want to and you have so much to offer. Realize how great you are. Realize how important and beautiful you are. You are deserving of everything good in your life. The "bad" stuff is just there for you to learn from.

Smile, your life IS worthwhile.

Hi Chloe,

You are writing lamentations.... time honored, honest and very, very, very Old Testament. (Except in the Old Testament Lamentations, poets write about plucking out their beards because of the despair; not sure what analogous action a teen age girl would take during that time...) Thank God most of us don't stay in this place long...This doesn't mean that the experience and feelings expressed aren't real. Lamentations help us heal because they give voice to despair. Lamentations lead to discovery and growth.
